I had the great pleasure to meet Chris and Helen Griffin in their home in 1995.
A special bit in my life as I had always admired his great playing since listening to the 1935-38 Goodman recordings from the 1950s’ through to today. They welcomed me most graciously . As well, I met Paul and Irene at Jefferson House who actually called Dad and arranged for me to see them. A pleasure I will never forget.
